Kennedy Igboananike In The Running For MLS Goal Of The Week

Kennedy Igboananike’s goal for Chicago Fire last weekend has been nominated for the Goal of the Week in Major League Soccer after the latest round of matches.
In a move he started, the 27-year-old curled a shot past Montreal Impact netminder Evan Bush with his favourite right foot after 29 minutes of action at Toyota Park.
In the first round of voting, Igboananike is up against Ignacio Piatti, who netted the game-winner from distance in the first minute of stoppage time against Chicago Fire.
Giovani dos Santos(LA Galaxy),Mauro Rosales(FC Dallas),Fabián Castillo(FC Dallas),Juan Manuel Martínez(Real Salt Lake),Didier Drogba(Montreal Impact) and Jack McInerney(Portland Timbers) are also in the running for the award.
Kennedy Igboananike has scored three goals in the American top-flight so far this season.
