Catch up on the performance of players of Nigerian descent in the European Leagues on Tuesday, April 19.
We start off in Belgium at the Stadion Schiervelde (Roeselare). KV Oostende are still playing catch up in the race for the Jupiler League crown after letting a two-goal lead slip in their 3-3 draw with Zulte-Waregem.
Former Nigeria international Joseph Akpala put the homers 2-0 up in the fifth minute. The ex-Club Brugge star was substituted ten minutes from time, while Nigeria U23 international Saviour Godwin made the bench.

In the German Cup, Anthony Ujah started on the bench for Werder Bremen for the second straight game as his team lost 2-0 to Bayern Munich, Unlike last weekend, the out-of-favour Super Eagles striker was in action in the last 16 minutes.
He has managed only one goal for Werder Bremen in his last 12 games across all competitions.
Austria star David Alaba started and played 90 minutes for Bayern Munich.
In the Dutch Eredivisie, Dominic Solanke clocked up 90 minutes in Vitesse’s 2-0 loss suffered at the hands of PSV Eindhoven.
