Portland Timbers DP Adi In Five-Man Shortlist For MLS Etihad Airways Player Of The Month

Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi has been nominated for Major League Soccer’s Etihad Airways Player of the Month for April.
The in-form Nigerian frontman has been shortlisted for the award alongside Giovani Dos Santos (LA Galaxy),Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC), Jermaine Jones (Colorado Rapids) and Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes).
Fanendo Adi was outstanding in the month of April, featuring in all the six matches contested by Portland Timbers in the American topflight and netted four times while providing one assist.
His 17th minute goal against Toronto was his 32nd in the colours of Portland Timbers and the quickest scored by a player of the club in the 2016 campaign.
