CSKA Moscow Striker Samuel To Go Under The Knife In Germany, Confirmed Out Of Nigeria Friendlies

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CSKA Moscow striker Aaron Samuel will travel to Germany in the coming days to visit specialists and undergo surgery after damaging knee ligaments in the Russian Cup final on Monday against Zenit St. Petersburg.
The young star had to be substituted three minutes after he netted the equalizer after landing awkwardly on his knee.
Tests were conducted by CSKA Moscow’s medical team today and they revealed the player’s worst fears - he damaged the front and right side of the knee ligaments.
The exact time he will spend on the sidelines is unconfirmed for now until he goes under the knife in Germany.
The 21-year-old Aaron Samuel will not travel to France for the friendly with Mali and will also miss the tie against Luxembourg as a result of his injury.
