Liverpool Product Michael Ihiekwe Signs New Deal With Tranmere Rovers

Vanarama National League club Tranmere Rovers have announced that Michael Ihiekwe has signed a contract extension.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal which will see him remain at the Super White Army until the end of next season, having initially penned a two-year contract when he joined the club in 2014.
A product of the academy team of Liverpool, Ihiekwe has played professionally for Wolverhampton Wanderers and spent time on loan at Cheltenham Town while on the books of the Molineux Stadium outfit.
Since his arrival at Prenton Park, he has played 82 games and found the net three times.
Michael Ihiekwe has been selected to train with the England C squad in the past.
