Leicester City Scout Tips Versatile Ahmed Musa To Shine In The Premier League
Published: June 17, 2016
Leicester City’s Eastern Europe scout, Darren, has commented on the pros and cons of the Premier League champions signing Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa.
The CSKA Moscow striker has been a long-term target for the Foxes and the Army Men had rejected a bid for his services in the winter transfer market.
“He’s fast, technical, tactical became well equipped. His competitive advantage is versatility - the ability to play on the wing, and at the point of attack, ” Darren said to Russian daily Izvestia.
On the flip side, he added : “There are problems with athleticism - for the English Premier League, he is very fragile.
“But this problem is solved in the gym, where I am sure Musa will be sent to experts in physical training. ”
Ahmed Musa, 23, is contracted to CSKA Moscow until the summer of 2019, having renewed terms with the Muscovites last year.
