Dream Team Defender Heartbroken After Siasia Snubs Him For Olympics
Published: July 23, 2016
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, SpVgg Greuther Fürth new signing Erhun Obanor is disappointed after he was left out of Nigeria U23s 18-man squad and alternate players that will prosecute the Olympic Games.
But the former Mountain of Fire stopper has found solace in the fact that he was able to join a new club before the start of the Games.
In the coming days, Obanor is billed to return to Nigeria from Atlanta to process an entry visa to Germany, after the visa earlier issued to him to seal the deal with the German 2 Bundesliga club expired.
The 20-year-old might have to pay for his airfare from his own pocket as the Nigeria Football Federation have been claiming that they are making arrangements to book a ticket up to this very moment.
He will most likely spend about a week in Nigeria awaiting the outcome of his visa application before jetting out to Germany for pre-season training with his new club.
