Brown Ideye, Chinedu Obasi, Kayode Help Clubs Register Wins With Goals
Published: October 02, 2016
Brown Ideye opened scoring for Olympiakos in their impressive 3-0 win over AEK Athens in the Greek Super League on Sunday.
The Nigeria national-teamer wasted no time in breaking the ice, scoring his fifth goal in all competitions in the ninth minute, and was in action for the entirety of the contest at Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki.
Turning our attention to the Austrian Bundesliga, ex-Flying Eagles star Olarenwaju Kayode registered his name on the score sheet after coming off the bench as Austria Vienna came from a goal down to beat St. Pölten 2-1.
Kayode’s late goal in the 85th minute secured the three points for the home team at Ernst-Happel-Stadion.
Elsewhere, Chinedu Obasi logged 71 minutes in AIK Stockholm’s 6-0 rout of Norrköping at Friends Arena.
The visitors found themselves trailing 0-4 after 63 minutes when the in-form Super Eagles striker scored for the third consecutive game in the Allsvenskan.
