Promising Nigerian Midfielder Uwakwe Shines In Derby Between Chelsea and Tottenham
Published: October 22, 2016
The visitors took the lead at Hotspur Way Training Centre (London) in the 26th minute courtesy of Marc Guehi, who headed home after a corner kick taken by Uwakwe.
But Chelsea were pegged back by Tottenham Hotspur’s Shashoua three minutes later and the scoreboard remained unchanged until the end of the game.
England youth international of Nigerian descent Keanan Bennetts recorded his seventh appearance of the season versus Chelsea.
Uwakwe, 16, has registered his name on the scorecard twice in seven matches for the Blues in the UPL.
