Promising Nigerian Midfielder Uwakwe Scores Again For Chelsea

Talented Nigerian midfielder Tariq Uwakwe impressed for Chelsea as they registered their eighth successive home win in the U18 Premier League after thrashing Norwich City 3-1 at Cobham Training Centre on Saturday.
Jody Morris’s side dominated every facet of the game and were rewarded with two first half goals scored by Harvey St Clair and Conor Gallagher.
Uwakwe, 17, made it three with 20 minutes remaining with a powerful strike that went past goalkeeper Fergal Hale-Brown, his third goal in the league this season from 12 appearances.
The England U18 international netted on his debut for the U23s in their 2-0 win over FC Nuremberg in a friendly on Monday.
Canaries defender Oluwarotimi Odusina lasted the distance against Chelsea.
