Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho has been omitted from Manchester City’s Champions League roster.
City have submitted a 21-player list to Europe’s football governing body, UEFA, following the close of the transfer window, with the promising striker struck off the list.
That said, Iheanacho remains available for selection as he now qualifies to be named on UEFA’s ‘List B’.
The Taye Academy product is eligible because he has played nonstop at Manchester City for the past two years and is recognized as an U21 player.
England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo has been left out of the 21-man list, but City have announced that the young central defender is on the B list.
