Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton Talents Of Nigerian Descent Get New Coach

The English FA has reported via its official website that Paul Simpson will take charge of England U20s at this summer’s Fifa Under 20 World Cup in South Korea.
As many as six players of Nigerian descent, including Liverpool wonderkids Sheyi Ojo and Ovie Ejaria, Chelsea trio Fikayo Tomori, Dominic Solanke and Tammy Abraham, and Everton teen sensation Ademola Lookman are eligible to represent the Young Lions at the World Cup.
Speaking after his appointment, Simpson told thefa.com : “This group have worked incredibly hard to earn the right to take part in these finals and I believe we can enjoy a successful competition.
“The experience gained will help the players take the next steps in their development as international footballers.”
Former Manchester City winger Simpson previously managed Rochdale, Carlisle United, Preston North End, Shrewsbury Town and Stockport County.
He will be assisted by Aaron Danks and Andy Edwards, as well as goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis.
