Nigerian Defender Comes Off Bench To Score 89th Minute Winner For Arsenal

The young Nigerian defender Tobi Omole was on target as Arsenal beat Swansea City 1-0 in an U18 Premier League encounter at Shenley Training Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners penultimate game before the end of the South Division was heading for a draw until Tobi Omole stole the headlines by scoring his first goal in the league in the 89th minute.
Omole, on as a substitute in the 74th minute, netted the winner after he was set up by Emile Smith-Rowe.
The 17-year-old, who has admitted that he is learning his craft from Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi, has started two games for the Young Gunners in the U18 league, while he has appeared off the bench nine times.
England youth international Tolaji Bola put in a full shift for Arsenal and teammate Joseph Olayinka remained on the bench for the entirety of the game.
