Official : Nigerian Striker Signs Professional Contract With Ajax Amsterdam

Dutch Women Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam have completed the signing of highly-rated Nigerian striker Toni Payne following a successful trial.
Payne has penned a professional contract and will return to the club in May when she completes her examinations at Duke University.
“I am very excited to join Ajax for the rest of their season as well as next season,” said Payne to goduke.com.
“I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity to play with such a strong and competitive club.”
Toni Payne had been drafted into the NWSL by Kansas City, but she favoured a move to Ajax Amsterdam.
Though eligible to represent the Super Falcons, she has caps for the United States U23 team.
