Chelsea Star Victor Moses Named In Alternate PFA Team Of The Season
Published: April 21, 2017
Victor Moses has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to Chelsea this season, with Sportmail naming him in their alternative PFA Team of the Year.
Only yesterday, the official Team of the Season was announced by the Professional Footballers' Association (The PFA), and the Chelsea number 15 was omitted despite his impact for the Blues.
Moses was selected ahead of Arsenal's Hector Bellerin because of the the impressive way he has taken to his new position as a right wing-back.
In a 3-5-2 formation, the Nigeria international starts at right back, Southampton's Ryan Bertrand covers the left flank, while Ander Herrera, Idrissa Gueye and Mousa Dembele are the central midfielders.
Moses first played as a right wing-back against Hull City in the Premier League, and has racked up 24 appearances in that position this season.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and provided three assists in the top-flight.
