Iheanacho Has Not Started For Man City In 20 Games But Hopes To Play Vs Man Utd
Published: April 27, 2017
Kelechi Iheanacho is raring to go when the two teams representing Manchester in the Premier League lock horns at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday night.
The Nigeria international was key when the Citizens faced the Red Devils back in September, scoring a goal and notching an assist in a 2-1 win, and hopes to be part of the squad tonight.
Iheanacho is no stranger to Manchester United, as he also started the League Cup clash a month later and featured off the bench in his sixth game as a professional last season.
''It's the BIG one tomorrow, we're raring to go. Hope you all are ready too? #MCFC #ComeOnCity #ManchesterDerby,'' Iheanacho posted on Instagram.
Iheanacho has not started a game for City since January 2 when he was substituted before the start of the second half against Burnley.
