Official : Cambridge United Snap Up Pacy Winger David Amoo
Published: May 24, 2017
EFL League Two club Cambridge United have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Nigerian winger David Amoo.
Only yesterday, Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle confirmed that the former Liverpool wonderkid will not be extending his contract, paving the way for him to join the U's as a free agent.
''When I heard about the interest from Cambridge United, I jumped at it with open arms. It's a challenge that I'm really excited about,'' Amoo told Cambridge United's official website.
"I've played at League One and League Two level for a large part of my career, so I'm looking forward to moving back to England and showing my stuff here.
''I know how competitive this level is with a lot of games to be played, so I want to chip in with as much as I can to help the team.''
Amoo has signed a one-year deal that will keep him at Cambridge United until the end of the 2017-2018 season.
