Done Deal : Dutch Club Excelsior Rotterdam Beat PSG To Signing Of Omidiji
Published: June 20, 2017
Eredivisie Women outfit Excelsior Rotterdam have announced that they have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Sophia Omidiji ahead of the new season.
The Falconets star joins the newly formed club from Belgian team KAA Gent, where she spent five months.
Sophia has revealed that she returned to the Netherlands because she's targeting a spot in Nigeria's roster for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Born in Las Vegas to a Nigerian father and American mom, she spent her formative years with Las Vegas Premier Sports Academy, and also featured for Sierra Vista High School before transferring to Dutch club FC Eindhoven.
