Chelsea's Nigerian Right Wing-Back Linked With Move To Hull City
Published: July 02, 2017
Former England U19 skipper Ola Aina is being linked with a transfer to EFL Championship side Hull City, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
It is believed that the Tigers have made an enquiry about the possibility of signing the Chelsea wonderkid on a season-long loan move.
New Hull City manager Leonid Slutskiy has an excellent relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, and spent the first five months of this year at the Blues Academy.
This is a World Cup season and Aina is aware that he needs to be playing on a regular basis in order to be named on the World Cup roster, having pledged his international future to Nigeria.
Last season, Aina's options were limited due to the emergence of Victor Moses as a full back, and he could only make six appearances in all competitions for the first team.
