Official: Chelsea Loan Out Eleventh Player This Summer As Talented Midfielder Joins The Eagles
Published: July 12, 2017
Through their official website, Premier League club Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of England U21 international Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The midfielder is the Eagles' first signing since the appointment of Dutchman Frank de Boer as coach.
“I had the option of coming to Palace and I thought that it would be great for me,” Loftus-Cheek said.
“I live not too far away, I was born in Lewisham and Palace is good club so I thought it’s a good chance to play here and be a part of the team.
They have a very strong team and I’d like to be a part of that this season.”
Chelsea have farmed out eleven players on loan in the summer transfer window, including Tammy Abraham, Ola Aina, Nathan Baxter, Brad Collins, Charlie Colkett, Fankaty Dabo, Todd Kane, Kasey Palmer, Danilo Pantic and Josimar Quintero.
