Manchester City 1 Chelsea 0 : Man City Set To Announce The Signing Of Real Madrid's Danilo
Published: July 21, 2017
Manchester City are poised to snatch Real Madrid fullback Danilo from under the noses of Chelsea.
The Citizens have moved into pole position for the signature of the Brazil international after Los Blancos accepted a bid of 35 million euros, including add-ons, for the defender.
Danilo would have been heading to the English capital instead but Chelsea were too slow in their negotiations with the European champions, paving the way for City to hijack the deal.
The former Porto star is expected to append his signature to a five-year deal with Manchester City.
He could make his unofficial debut for the Etihad Stadium outfit when they take on his former employers Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday.
