Published: July 21, 2017
Manchester United have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Ajax Amsterdam wonderkid Millen Baars.
The Red Devils published on their official website that the winger officially joined the club on July 20, 2017 after his international clearance was received.
''A forward with plenty of potential, Baars had to be patient to wait for his paperwork to be completed before officially joining the Reds in the summer of 2017,'' United stated.
''Formerly with Ajax, the exciting prospect has received a perfect grounding at the Amsterdam club's hugely-respected Academy.''
Chelsea and Arsenal plus teams based in Portugal and Italy were interested in signing Baars before his representatives reached an agreement with Manchester United.
The 17-year-old is expected to feature for Manchester United U18s in the forthcoming season.
