Fulham Set To Pull Off Transfer Coup With Imminent Signing Of Liverpool Whizkid
Published: August 15, 2017
EFL Championship outfit Fulham remain in pole position to sign England U20 World Cup-winning winger Sheyi Ojo.
Various reports in the English press, including talkSPORT, have suggested that the Cottagers are set to complete the signing of Ojo on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
After starring at this summer's Fifa U20 World Cup, the tricky and pacy winger was not lacking suitors, with Middlesbrough, Derby County and Aston Villa also interested in his signature.
The 20-year-old will link up with Nigerian quintet Sone Aluko, Dennis Adeniran, Tayo Edun, Elijah Adebayo and Timmy Abraham at Craven Cottage.
Sheyi Ojo is not in the plans of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in the new season and has not figured for the first team in their last eight games, including friendly matches.
