Real Sociedad Overtake Liverpool In The Race To Sign Uruguayan Messi

La Liga side Real Sociedad are close to completing the signing of one of the most promising talents in South America, Agustín Dávila.
Spanish sources including Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Dávila has been excused from the Uruguay U18s get-together to complete a transfer to the club from Guipúzcoa.
Peñarol and Real Sociedad have agreed that Dávila will join the Spanish club on loan for the next two seasons, with an obligation to buy him in the summer of 2019.
Dávila , who has been likened to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, was heavily linked with a transfer to Liverpool in 2016, having trained with the club.
He was in the stands when Liverpool faced Manchester United at Anfield in a Premier League encounter last season.
