Published: September 09, 2017
The administrative body for association football in Europe, UEFA, have published Manchester City's squad list for the UEFA Youth League, with four players of Nigerian parentage included.
Dele-Bashiru brothers Tom and Fisayo, Jos-born Ashinme Kigbu and Nathanael Ogbeta have been registered for the competition by manager Simon Davies.
The UEFA Youth League mirrors the Champions League format, meaning the young Citizens will face Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord in Group F.
The four players have yet to debut for City in the competition but hope to do so when the English club tackle Feyenoord U19 on Wednesday, September 13.
Apart from Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, the aforementioned players have caps for England's youth teams.
Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been promoted to City's first team, has the most appearances for the Etihad Stadium outfit in this competition, 19 in total, and only Chelsea defender Ola Aina has played more games than him for an English club.
