Amkar Perm defender Brian Idowu is in line to make his international
debut for the Super Eagles when they face Argentina in Krasnodar next
Tuesday, November 14, according to reports.
Score Nigeria, quoting Super Eagles Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye, claims the Russian-born defender will join up with the Super Eagles when they arrive in St. Petersburg this weekend.
''He will join us in Krasnodar for the match against Argentina,” Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye told the website.
''He will be the 23rd player in the squad.''
Brian Idowu can operate at left back, left midfield, central defense and right back.
His mother has dual nationality and hails from Imo State, South Eastern Nigeria.
