Confirmed: Arsenal loan out pacy forward of Nigerian descent to St Albans City
Published: November 01, 2025
With a statement on the official website, Arsenal have announced that pacy forward of Nigerian descent Daniel Oyetunde has been loaned out to Isthmian League Premier Division side St Albans City .
The 18-year-old has moved to the Isthmian League Premier Division side on an initial youth loan until the end of November 2025.
This marks the first loan spell of Oyetunde's career, four years after joining the Gunners' Hale End Academy.
Despite training with the first team, he has yet to feature in a senior matchday squad.
In search of first-team experience, the talented attacker has opted to link up with the Saints.
Oyetunde's versatility will be an asset to St Albans City, as he is capable of operating both as a striker and a winger.
He is highly regarded within Arsenal's youth setup, having made his debut for the U21s while still a schoolboy.
His loan move was finalised in time for him to be eligible for selection in St Albans City's FA Cup first round tie against Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Oyetunde signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in July 2025, following the completion of his two-year scholarship.
Last season, he made 13 appearances across the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup, contributing two goals and two assists.
