Super Eagles Jet Off To Russia Ahead Of Showcase Friendly Vs Argentina

The Super Eagles will arrive in Krasnodar aboard a chartered aircraft on Saturday evening, for Tuesday’s prestige friendly with two –time world champions Argentina.
Officials confirmed to thenff.com that the aircraft will take off from the Aeroport Constantine at 1pm Algeria time (same as Nigeria), with the flight to last less than five hours.
A 1-1 draw against Algeria’s Fennecs at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui on Friday night stretched Nigeria’s unbeaten streak in FIFA World Cup qualifying to 35, the second –longest streak in the world behind 2010 FIFA World Cup winners Spain.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick confirmed that a meeting between the Federation’s leadership and the Management of the team plus the team captain will take place in Krasnodar on Sunday.
