The Afro-Russian is in line to make his first appearance for the three-time African champions when they take on Argentina on Tuesday, November 14.

Idowu was born in St. Petersburg, Russia to a Nigerian father, while his mom is half-Russian, half-Nigerian from Imo State.
The 25-year-old is very versatile and can operate at left back, left midfield, central defense and right back.
