Ola Aina Happy With Display Against Algeria And Argentina
Published: November 16, 2017
Chelsea product Ola Aina has returned to Hull City ahead of their Championship game against Ipswich Town at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Within the last one week, the former England U19 skipper has tripled the number of international caps he has for the Super Eagles after making appearances against Algeria (November 10) and Argentina (November 14).
Aina felt good upon his return to England and tweeted on Thursday evening : ''Thankful for a good week away with Nigeria 🦅🇳🇬. Back to @HullCity now▪🔸#MrLulu''.
The 21-year-old has established himself as one of the standout players at the Tigers, starting and going the distance in fifteen of the sixteen matches in the English second-tier.
With Amkar Perm defender Brian Idowu catching the eye at left wing-back in the 4-2 win over Argentina, Aina might be destined for a role at right back in future games for the Super Eagles after acting as a back-up to Sivasspor left-back Elderson Echiejile in the last three matches.
The Londoner has logged 146 minutes in three games for the three-time African champions.
