Semifinalists Emerge At Aaron Samuel 5-A-Side Tournament

Semifinalists emerged on Thursday at the second edition of the Aaron Samuel 5-a-side football tournament currently happening in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, after more teams were eliminated from the competition.
Aaron Samuel’s own team, Aaron FC, had been eliminated on the opening day in the knockout series and on Thursday, more teams were shown the exit as the battle for who wins the coveted prize continues.
On Thursday, the aptly named Ogbunabali beat Bright Stars 2-0 to advance to the semis, while Mike Boys and SKE recorded wins of the same margin against Bright Stars and Rumuomasi respectively, to put one foot in the final.
In the other quarterfinal match decided on Thursday, D/Line lost 1-2 to the very impressive Rainbow Stars.
And as it stands, Mike Boys will face SKE in the semifinals, while Ogbunabali come up against Rainbow Stars.
