Red-Hot Striker Ogbeche Reveals The Secret Behind His Goal Scoring Form
Published: December 15, 2017
Bartholomew Ogbeche has revealed the secret behind his goal-scoring form for Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie, having recovered from a cruciate ligament injury, which had kept him on the sidelines for up to nine months.
The Nigeria international has netted in each of his last five matches in the Dutch top-flight and will set a new club record if he finds the back of the net again for the Tilburg-based club against Kingsley Ehizibue's PEC Zwolle on Saturday.
''I try to play every game like this, as if it were my last," Ogbeche told Omroep Brabant, according to fcupdate.nl.
"You have to improve yourself in football, and I have enough points to improve myself, and I want to play better every game."
The former PSG wonderkid added : ''If you think of goals, it becomes an obsession, I have a lot of experience, I never think of goals, I want to enjoy the game, you also get chances and you score goals.
''At the end of the season we see on what number I finish, I'm not working on that now.''
Now 33, Ogbeche represented Nigeria at the 2002 World Cup, and featured in games against Argentina and Sweden.
