(Photo Confirmation) Super Eagles Midfielder Henry Uche Joins AFC Leopards Kenya
Published: December 15, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Kenya Premier League powerhouse AFC Leopards have pulled off a transfer coup with the capture of the signature of Henry Uche from Shooting Stars.
The out-of-favour Nigeria international has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with The Leopards.
Few years ago, Uche was one of the most outstanding players at Enyimba, which earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles before he transferred to Albanian club FK Kukësi in 2014.
The deal that took the 27-year-old to AFC Leopards was brokered by Nigerian agent Joel Buade, CEO of Pexsport International, and his partner Babatunde Orebiyi.
AFC Leopards have bolstered their squad with the signing of Uche ahead of next year's CAF Confederation Cup and he is set to be named to their roster for the competition.
The Nigerian midfielder could make his competitive debut for his new employer when they face Gor Mahia in the Super Cup on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
