(Photo Confirmation) Chelsea Announce Second Signing Of Winter Transfer Window

With a statement on their official website, Chelsea Ladies have announced the signing of Anita Asante with effect from December 29, 2017, the date the winter transfer window will officially open for business.
The defensive midfielder has appended her signature to a deal that will keep her at the London club until May 2020.
Asante becomes Chelsea Ladies' second signing of the winter transfer market with the club already agreeing terms with Swedish defender Jonna Andersson .
The 32-year-old Asante told Chelsea's official website : ''I'm so excited to join the club. It's a great football team, with a deep squad and I can't wait to get started.
''I've had the experience of playing here before, I have positive memories of that time and I've seen how much the club has grown since then, the success of the team and how they've developed.
''I feel I can be a part of that and contribute something.''
An England international, Asante numbers Arsenal, Sky Blue FC, Saint Louis Athletica, Chicago Red Stars, Washington Freedom, Göteborg and FC Rosengård among her former clubs.
