Nigerian CB Looking Forward To The Biggest Game Of His Career Vs Manchester United
Published: January 26, 2018
Nigerian central defender Omar Sowunmi is looking forward to unarguably the biggest game of his career when his team Yeovil Town face Manchester United in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday night.
Manchester United have in their ranks new signing from Arsenal Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford, but Sowunmi is confident that he can hold his own against these top strikers.
''I’m very excited for the game! It will be a good test for all the boys and probably the biggest club most of the boys have come up against,'' said Omar Sowunmi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''I have faced none of the players Sanchez, Lukaku and Martial so far in my career, so I am looking forward to it.''
Sowunmi missed Yeovil Town's third round clash vs Bradford City due to suspension but is set to return to the squad for today's tie at Huish Park.
The 22-year-old was named in the starting line-up against Southend United and Port Vale in the earlier rounds of the FA Cup.
