Through a press release, Italian Serie B club Perugia have confirmed the loan signing of promising Nigerian right-back Nura Abdullahi after reaching an agreement with Roma.
The Football College Abuja product has penned a two-year loan deal with with option and counter-option inserted into the contract.
The 20-year-old has yet to debut for the first team of Roma but has made the match day squads for Serie A fixtures eleven times across three seasons.
To improve his chances of playing on a regular basis, the Giallorossi have decided it was best to loan him out to a club in level two in the football pyramid.
A goal-scoring defender, Abdullahi has netted 13 goals in total from 48 appearances in the Primavera for Spezia and Roma.
He has been likened to former Brazil captain Cafu by his minders.
