Done Deal : Onyekachi Hope Ugwuadu Makes Switch To Sandnes Ulf
Published: February 06, 2018
Norwegian OBOS-ligaen outfit Sandnes Ulf have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Onyekachi Hope Ugwuadu on a two-year deal.
Kachi is not a stranger in Norway as he previously represented Sarpsborg 08, Bodø/Glimt and Strømmen since his arrival in the country three years ago.
In his first words as a Sandnes Ulf player, Ugwuadu said to SandnesUlf.no : ''I would like to thank the club first to pick me up.
''I was open to new opportunities and felt very much wanted by the club management and Bengt Sæternes. Now I'm looking forward to working hard for my new club.
"To me it was also important that Bengt has experience as a high level of self-esteem. This means that I can gain a lot of expertise from him and that he works very specifically with me. I'm looking forward to that.''
Renowned Nigerian scout Udia Attai spotted Onyekachi Hope Ugwuadu during a game in Port Harcourt before recommending him to Norwegian agent Atta Aneke.
