Queens Park Rangers Still Running The Rule Over Arsenal's Nigerian Winger
Published: February 06, 2018
EFL Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers remain interested in the signing of Nigerian starlet Aaron Eyoma, but will continue observing the winger at close quarters before making a decision.
The Gunners submitted Eyoma's name to the Premier League at the end of the January transfer window, but it appears he is not in the plans of U23s manager Steve Gatting with the club permitting him to train with their London neighbors.
Only yesterday, the Hale End Academy product went the distance as Queens Park Rangers were beaten 3-2 by Cardiff City in the Professional Development League.
The 20-year-old was monitored by Paul Hall, manager of QPR reserve team, in their 3-2 loss to Colchester United last month.
Eyoma spent the second half of last season on loan with FC Volendam and made eight appearances for their U21 team in the Derde Divisie Saturday, scoring one goal.
Aaron Eyoma's brother, Timothy, plays for Tottenham Hotspur U23s and helped England win the Fifa U17 World Cup last year.
