Published: February 27, 2018
Through a statement on their official website, Norwegian top division team Vålerenga Fotball have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Peter Godly Michael on a four-year deal.
Peter Godly Michael impressed the coaching staff of Vålerenga during several weeks of trials and was part of the squad that traveled to Marbella, Spain for pre-season training.
''That's what I've been working for all the time, and I'm very pleased to have signed for Vålerenga. I've done my best all the way, and I'll keep doing,'' Michael told Vålerenga's official website.
Sports director, Jørgen Ingebrigtsen added : ''Peter has made a very good impression both as player and person during the period he has been here.
''He is instructive, has a good physique, scores goals and has also slipped very well into the group. We strongly believe that this will be good both for himself and the club''
Michael is in line to make his competitive debut for VIF in their league opener against Kristiansund on March 12.
