EPL Wrap: Ndidi & Iheanacho Star; Ibe Injured; Abraham& Okaka Sub; Obafemi Not In 18; Solanke Bench A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, March 3.

Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.

Leicester City shared spoils with Bournemouth 1-1 at the King Power Stadium, with Riyad Mahrez popping up with a late leveler to cancel out Joshua King's early effort.

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi went the distance for the Foxes while his compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced after 59 minutes, forcing the late foul which earned his side the freekick to score.

Nigerian Federation target Jordon Ibe was not selected by the Cherries for the clash though after failing a late fitness test.

Elsewhere,  young Nigerian sensation, Michael Obafemi was not included in Southampton's 18-man team who were held to a goalless draw at the St Mary stadium.

At the Liberty Stadium, Tammy Abraham started on the bench for Swansea City who brushed aside West Ham United 4-1, thanks to strikes from Ki Seung Young, Van Der Hoorn, Andy King and Jordan Ayew.

The Chelsea loanee was thrown into the fray in stoppage time with the game firmly decided.

Nigerian striker Stefano Okaka was equally selected on the bench at  Vicarage Road as Watford pipped West Brom to a 1-0 win courtesy of a Troy Denney's 77th minute terrific finish.

Okaka came on after 54 minutes for the Hornets in the encounter.

In the late kick off at Anfield, 20-year old striker, Dominic Solanke is named among the substitutes for Liverpool who square off against Newcastle.
