Done Deal: Ex-Warri Wolves Striker Oke Akpoveta Joins Eighth Club In Europe

AFC Eskilstuna have announced that they have completed the signing of
Nigerian striker Oke Akpoveta.
The 26-year-old, who last wore the jersey of Helsingborgs IF in Sweden, has inked a two-year deal that will keep him at AFC Eskilstuna until the end of the 2019 season.
''We have had a dialogue with the player's adviser, Jimmy Hermez, for a period. Finally, all the pieces fell in place, '' says CEO Azad Budak to AFC Eskilstuna's official website.
"He is a strong player who has a mind for goals. In addition, he works hard for the team and is good at the box. We are very pleased that we have been able to land him and he will contribute a lot. ''
A product of Warri Wolves, Akpoveta numbers Brøndby IF, Ravan Baku, Brønshøj BK, Lyngby BK, IK Frej and Dalkurd FF among his former clubs in Europe.
Last season, he scored 9 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Helsingborgs IF.
