Why Super Eagles Top RB Candidate For World Cup Is Missing From ADO Den Haag SquadThere is another bad news for Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr two months before the national team begin their World Cup campaign against Croatia at Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad.

Only yesterday, Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi sustained a hamstring-related injury and had to be forced off after only 28 minutes, now ADO Den Haag fullback Tyronne Ebuehi has joined his assistant captain in the treatment room.

Ebuehi has not been included in ADO Den Haag's match day squad in the ongoing Eredivisie game against FC Utrecht due to a groin injury.

That same ailment had raised questions about his availability for the friendlies in March against Poland and Serbia and it was a miracle of sorts that the defender got game time against the Polish team before going on to make his full debut at the Hive Stadium.

The red flag suggesting that all is not well with Ebuehi was when he had to be substituted in his first game after the international break last weekend, it has now come to light that it was not a tactical change by ADO Den Haag coach Alfons Groenendijk in the 50th minute but an injury-enforced one.

Young defender Trevor David has replaced the Super Eagles star in the starting line-up vs FC Utrecht.
