London-born Nigerian winger David Amoo has shown his commitment to EFL League Two club Cambridge United by inking a new one-year contract, writes the official website of The U's.
The 27-year-old's fresh agreement with United will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2018-2019 season if the two parties honour the contract.
A product of the Millwall and Liverpool Academies, Amoo has suited up in 24 matches across all competitions since joining Cambridge United in the summer of 2017.
''I am really enjoying my time here with Cambridge United so when I was offered a chance to continue that, it was an absolute no-brainer,'' Amoo said.
''The fans have welcomed me to the Club brilliantly and have been so patient through all the injuries and set-backs.
''I am therefore looking forward to being able to repay their faith in me, and the management team too who have worked so hard on making sure I’ve been able to play a part this season.
''I’m so excited to have another year with the Club.''

Whilst at Liverpool, Amoo spent time out on loan at Milton Keynes Dons, Hull City and Bury, and also lists Preston North End, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Partick Thistle amongst his former clubs.
