Nigerian Federation: Moses, Iwobi, Eagles Stars Will Not Be Fielded Against Atletico Madrid
Published: May 15, 2018English Premier League stars Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho will not be fielded in the proposed friendly between the Super Eagles and Atlético de Madrid, according to the Nigeria Football Federation.
Vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Mallam Shehu Dikko, informed this website that the top stars in the Nigeria Professional Football League will be called up for the friendly against Los Rojiblancos in Uyo.
Asked if the 30 players named in the provisional squad will be considered for the match vs Atlético, Dikko told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''No, the 30 players invited for the World Cup won't play the game. It is the second team that will play, the Super Eagles B.

The Super Eagles players will start training for the World Cup in Uyo on May 22, same date the local-based players will face the Europa League finalists at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
