Iwobi, Aina Among Seven Super Eagles Stars In Uyo; Etebo & Akpeyi Join Tuesday
Published: May 21, 2018The Super Eagles are gearing up for their first training session on Nigerian soil ahead of their friendly with Democratic Republic of Congo in Port Harcourt next week.
Seven players named in the 30-man preliminary roster have reported at Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort in Uyo.
They include home-based duo Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Junior Lokosa, Bursaspor defender William Troost-Ekong, Monaco left-back Elderson Echiejile, Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi, Chelsea right back Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi of Arsenal.
Chippa United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi landed in Lagos on Sunday night and will link up with his international teammates on Tuesday, May 22.
Las Palmas star Oghenekaro Etebo had a very stressful season, the La Liga club are based in the Canary Islands
