What The Super Eagles Stars Are Saying After First Training In Hot Conditions
Published: May 24, 2018The Super Eagles players took to social media to express their feelings after their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday morning in preparation for the 2018 World Cup.
Majority of the seventeen players that participated in the session had complained that the weather was too hot but that did not prevent the players from putting in their best efforts.
Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho said on Twitter : ''First training section with the super eagles🦅🇳🇬🇳🇬 👀 on the price''.
William Troost-Ekong stated : ''Good to be back home training with the @NGSuperEagles in Uyo. Feeling fit and ready for our road to Russia! #AkwaIbomBoy #Russia2018 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 📷.''.
Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile commented : ''Go hard or Go harder! Quitting is not an option. #training #EUE3 #soareagles #supereagles''.
Assistant captain Eddy Onazi took to Instagram to share his thoughts, saying : ''Super eagles 🦅 of Nigeria 🇳🇬 Let’s start the preparation. 💪🏿#9ja17''.
As at 0915 hours today, the Super Eagles players and coaching staff were about leaving the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort in Uyo, this morning's workout at the Nest of Champions is expected to start at 1000 hours.
