Blow-By-Blow Account Of Super Eagles Training Session On Thursday Morning

Twenty-seven players participated in the training session with four goalkeepers and twenty-three outfield players, the absentees being Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and John Ogu, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
As from 1040 hours, three different drills were done with the ball : shooting practice, passing in pairs and tackling a teammate to get the ball.
As usual the team was divided into two groups of eleven each, but the four goalkeepers Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ezenwa and Ajiboye were left out.
At 1120 hours, a match in which the full training pitch was used started, eleven-a-side.
Training started at approximately 1030 hours with all the players taking part in the jogging exercise, and after that the recuperating Wilfred Ndidi trained alone with the fitness coach.
While all the outfield players went on to do some set of stretches and aerobics, the goalkeepers too did their own special training carried out by the goalkeeper coaches.
