Official : Super Eagles Attacking Midfielder Inks Deal With Portuguese Club C.S. Marítimo
Published: June 28, 2018Through their official website, Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit C.S. Marítimo have confirmed the signing of Nigeria international Alhassan Ibrahim on undisclosed terms.
The offensive all-rounder is joining C.S. Marítimo after spending the entirety of last season on loan at Austrian club Austria Vienna.
Alhassan was credited with 26 appearances for Austria Vienna, including four matches in the Europa League, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
Having played for the Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles, the F.C. Heart Academy product made his senior debut in the Super Eagles 3-0 rout of Togo in an international friendly last June.
The 21-year-old was part of the Super Eagles squad that narrowly lost 3-2 to Atlético Madrid in a post-season friendly held in Uyo on May 22.
Alhassan Ibrahim has also worn the jerseys of Wikki Tourists and Akwa United in his homeland.
