Three Nigerians featured for Danish side Midtjylland in their 2-1 loss on the road against Astana.

Paul Onuachu and summer signing Ayo Okosun started at Astana Arena. The former Dream Team VI striker went the distance while Okosun was replaced by Onyeka Frank on 68 minutes.
