If Kenneth Omeruo has his way, he would love to extend his collaboration with Spanish setup Leganés beyond June 30, 2019 as he is benefiting from working under ex-Liverpool star Mauricio Pellegrino.
Since joining Chelsea in 2012, the Nigeria international has yet to play an official match for the London club and his summer move to Leganes was his sixth loan move.
Asked if he would love to return to Chelsea, Omeruo told Sport Witness: ''Mmmm no (laughs). I want to be in Leganés, in Spain. Play and improve here. I would like to continue with Leganés.''
Omeruo is enjoying working with Leganes manager Pellegrino, who was a central defender during his playing days and made 13 appearances for Liverpool, including 12 in the Premier League.
The Super Eagles center back added : ''He is a very interesting person when it comes to work, I respect him very much because he is a legend. He was a great centre-back.
''I did not have the opportunity to see him play but fortunately people have spoken very well of him. I look at him because he was a great centre-back.
